eDeposit - Our Remote Deposit Capture Solution

When you don't have time to come to one of Frankenmuth Credit Union's branches , visit an ATM, or would like the convenience of just being able to deposit a check from wherever you are eDeposit might just be the solution for you. We can make it easy for you to get money in to your account.

What is this?
eDeposit allows you to make deposits to your FCU account by taking a picture of your check. You can also use eDeposit to send pictures of other items we might need, like your picture ID, loan documents or anything else. Go to our FAQ page for more information.

When I deposit a check when do the funds show up in my account?
Checks deposited by 2:00PM Monday through Friday will be guaranteed credit the same business day. Items after 2:00PM or on the weekends will be credited to your account the next business day.

How do I do it?
Simply click on this link and follow the step by step instructions to send us your check deposit or document for our review. FCU will follow FCU's normal check cashing procedures and by sending FCU an image you are agreeing to those Terms and Conditions. It's simple, secure and lets you do your banking when you want to.

Is a picture of the back of the check required?
Yes, a picture of the back of the check is required. A signature of all parties that the check is paid to is required along with a notation showing what kind of deposit is being made i.e. eDeposit, eDeposit Only etc.

What type of equipment is needed to process an e-deposit (scan)?
In order to use this service, you must have the following hardware and software with the indicated specifications:
Windows Vista, XP, or 2000 operating system or Mac OS.

What browsers support an e-deposit?
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 or higher as well as Firefox, Opera, Edge and Safari browsers are supported. Please note: Android/Chrome users may experience upload issues. Please use a different browser or use the link on your desktop computer instead of your smartphone to upload check.

What do I do with my original check after I send it?
We recommend that you mark somewhere on the back of your check the date and that you deposited it so it is easily recognizable as a check that has already been handled and posted. Even after acceptance of your eDeposit, we suggest to hold your check for 2 weeks in case FCU needs access to the original.
