FCU Debit Cards and Now FCU Credit Cards on Apple Pay

Make secure purchases in stores, in apps and now on the web with Apple Pay. Apple Pay is simple to use and works with the devices you use every day. Pay with your FCU debit and credit cards with just a touch. And because your card details are never shared by Apple when you use Apple Pay, making payments with your iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac is the safer, more private way to pay.
Apple Pay is accepted in grocery stores, boutiques, restaurants, hotels, and so many places you already enjoy. You can also use Apple Pay in all kinds of apps — and on participating websites using Safari on your Mac, iPhone, and iPad. And now you can use Apple Pay as an easy and secure way to make donations to your favorite nonprofit.

  iPhone Setup

  1. Go to Wallet and tap Add Credit or Debit Card.
  2. Follow the steps to add a new card. If you're asked to add the card that you use with iTunes, just enter its security code.
  3. Tap Next. Your bank or card issuer will verify your information and decide if you can add your card to Apple Pay. If your bank or issuer needs more information to verify your card, they'll ask you for it. When you have the information, go back to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay and tap your card.
  4. After your bank or issuer verifies your card, tap Next.
    Then start using Apple Pay.

  How to Pay

Look for one of these symbols at checkout and hold your phone near the contactless reader.

Place your finger on the Touch ID on your device, or you may need to enter a passcode and sign a receipt.

Keep your phone by the reader until it vibrates and beeps, this indicates that your payment was accepted.

  Security

With Apply Pay, instead of using your actual credit or debit card numbers when you add you card, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted, and securely stored in the Secure Element, a dedicated chip in iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch. These numbers are never stored on Apple servers. And when you make a purchase, the Device Account Number, along with a transaction-specific dynamic security code, is used to process your payment. This means your actual card numbers are never shared by Apple with merchants or transmitted with payment.
